The Retiring List is released this Friday 31st May. Stampin Up! decided that they would release the list a day early as 1 June is on a Saturday. Items sell out fast when officially announced - in the past some have been discounted but not all, only time will tell if this year will be the same.
Check in on Friday for the list.

Convention Roundup

Convention was fantastic! Each day started with a General Session in the morning. General Sessions are where all of the big stuff happens, announcements, great stamping presentations, all-attendee giveaways and prize patrol – what FUN!
Then there are classes with lots of different topics including Meeting New People, Social Media and MDS. Yes I'm itching to get creative on MDS, lots of new ideas for putting it to good use in my business.
Shelli Gardner Co-founder and CEO of Stampin Up!

The swaps were amazing and the projects presented in each of the Wow segments were fantastic! I've taken lots of photos for inspiration, there are so many fabulous demonstrators creating individual works of art.

Amazing Table Decoration at Memento Mall
Memento Mall was great, this is where we can purchase fun Stampin’ Up! themed merchandise. Only shame was the restrictions on day 1 to 1 of each item, then when we went back to get more most things were sold out! So a little sad about that. Just means there aren't so many presents.
We did Make & Takes on Day 2 and got to play with some new products at the resource center.  Then there were the all attendee giveaways and receiving the new catalogue!! Wow!! All under wraps until 1st July, but worth the wait.
Looking forward to Melbourne next year, save me a seat!!

Day 1 of convention

Wow, what a day!!! We lined up and ran for the front as soon as the doors to the theatre opened. We got seats in the front row and settled in. Shelli was fantastic, such a lovely lady. She talked about how the company started and how it started to grow from humble beginnings. The philosophy of the company hasn't changed, to Make a Difference. The theme of this convention is Be The Difference and Shelli outlined what that means. We had great excitement with free product giveaways, some of it for everyone and some prize patrols that you win if you have a band of a certain colour, go red stars!! The image below is the free product from today.

Isn't that amazing!! So generous!! We also have the convention back pack, containing stamps, make and takes, pen and a schedule of events. I've bought the laptop in the bag today as we're signed up for a workshop on MDS this afternoon. There are wonderful goodies available for purchase at Memento Mall, going back for more today.
As you can see we're having a great time and are so privileged to be here.

Convention Swap

Hi, This is the swap I made for Convention. It's a double slider card so when you pull on the piece of ribbon it reveals 2 panels one from the top and one from the bottom. I themed the card to the convention as it's my first SU convention and I'm really excited.

Front of card original design by Delia Kettel

Double Slider action to reveal 2 inserts

If you like this card let me know and we can make one in our craft group.

You're Amazing

Here's a card I cased in the weekend from Kimberly Van Diepen. I love the vintage feel to this card with the soft colours, the vintage balloons and the use of the World Spectacular DSP for the background. This card was really fun to make.
